About Us
Our journey at SK Leather commenced in 1989, as we began by procuring raw skins and meticulously tanning them before offering them to discerning customers. In 1999, we took a significant step forward by establishing our production facility in Trichy, India. Recently, in 2021, we transitioned our production operations to Dindigul, India, further carrying on with our capacity and capabilities.
At SK Leather, our unwavering commitment to excellence begins with the careful selection of the finest quality of raw materials, a tradition we have upheld for over four decades. Our extensive experience in raw material procurement for four decades ensures that we source only the highest-quality materials for our production processes.
Furthermore, we spare no expense in utilizing the best chemicals and cutting-edge tanning processes, even if it entails additional costs. This dedication to quality enhancement is what sets our leather apart and elevates it to a premium level.

Solar Power Integration:
At SK Leather, we've made a significant stride toward sustainability by installing solar panels with a total capacity of 10 Kilowatt and also further seeking expansion. These solar panels not only reduce our carbon footprint but also contribute to cleaner and greener energy production.
Rainwater Harvesting:
We take pride in our rainwater harvesting system, boasting a storage capacity of 300,000 litres. This collected rainwater is judiciously recycled within our operations, resulting in substantial water conservation.
Waste
Management:
Our commitment to sustainability extends to waste management. We diligently repurpose and recycle unwanted materials from goat skin, including tail portions, certain neck regions, hair, and buffing waste. These materials find new life in other industries, reducing overall waste and environmental impact.

- SK Leather boasts an impressive tanning capacity of a minimum of 50,000 pieces per month, equating to a remarkable 300,000 square feet per month. Our commitment to excellence is exemplified by our vegetable tanning operation, which consistently processes a minimum of 2,000 pieces per day.
- We uphold rigorous quality standards by conducting regular checks on key process indicators throughout each stage of production. This meticulous oversight ensures that the quality of our tanning remains consistent and of the highest caliber.
